"Butterfly"

Do dreams exist in an era like this?
I'm tired of saying stuff like that, but-

I've thought about acting tough all this time
But recently, even that has become futile

A phrase sounded a lot like "I want to see you"
Among the groundless noise in the city
I won't be fooled by such things
I do know how I feel

We're free
Somewhere, we wish there's no such thing as a dream that won't come true
Everyone does so
Searching for themselves, and something seemed to keep running-
That's the answer

We're free
We yearn for the light like butterflies
Making our wings shine
Our hearts are great skies, even if we lose our freedom in the strong wind
We don't want to regret

Does love exist even in an era like this?
I'm tired of saying stuff like that, but-

Something has been tucked away in my pocket all this time
It's not anger or sorrow

The song I hum
Is always a TUNE with ambiguous lyrics
Even if I stumble, I won't stop
I do know my own heartbeats

We're free
We're shouting that there's no such thing as a dream you can't reach
The truth is, we do so
Rousing ourselves, and our voices end up hoarse at times-
That's also being human

We're free
We yearn for the heights like butterflies
Making our wings flutter
In the great, lonely skies, even if we lose sight of our own map
We'll just go as much as we can

We're free
Somewhere, we wish there's no such thing as a dream that won't come true
Everyone does so
Searching for themselves, and something seemed to keep running-
That's the answer

We're free
We yearn for the light like butterflies
Making our wings shine
Our hearts are great skies, even if we lose our freedom in the strong wind
We don't want to regret
